Please help me spread the word about this seminar, which Dana Adkins and I are presenting on behalf of Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Charleston County Public Library (68 Calhoun Street). It will be three hours of explaining family court procedure to pro se litigants. There will be substantial written materials provided in electronic format that attendees can use in their own cases (I will likely post these materials online once the seminar is over).

This is Dana’s and my attempt to do volunteer work that will actually help the public. The more pro se litigants know, the better they can represent themselves. If you know a pro se litigant who could use help, please inform him or her of this seminar.

I have been in Family court too many times, and I have previously worked as a paralegal. When representing yourself in hotly contested matter, with an unethical attorney at the other table, I'm thinking you better hire an attorney no matter what. When the above circumstance exist, it's best to hock the family fortune and hire someone of Mr. Forman's experience. I'm betting this course would benefit lawyers too.
